Saving Light

History

I have been interested in Photography since my teens.

My first Major purchase was a NIKON FTN (Circa 1968).

I remember going to the Camera Store in downtown Toronto after having done my research. I found a salesperson and got my hands on one and was so excited to finally purchase it. I had the money saved and wrote a cheque, only to be told that they would have to hold the Camera for several days while the cheque cleared.

My heart dropped…now I had to wait even longer.

The Salesperson was very supportive and arranged to deliver it to my home, which he did. I loved those early days, with all there was to learn and ironically, the waiting for the Photos themselves, as this was the era of film.

I now own a NIKON D500 and for a time, ventured into CANON territory with a CANON 7D.

This Site is dedicated to my Father, John Fenning.
